The Singhania family is very well known family in the city of Udaipur. They have aced  in the fabric and fashion business for many years and are one of the richest families in the city.

It is a beautiful morning at the Singhania Mansion. The house is full of workers running around, preparing for a big event. Today is Daksh Singhania's birthday, and a grand party is planned for the evening. Everyone is busy making sure everything is perfect.

[ ROYAL DINING TABLE]

At breakfast, the whole family gathers in the dining hall. Just then, Rayaan Singhania, the King of Udaipur, enters the room. He walks to his grandfather and bends down to touch his feet for blessings.

But Daksh Singhania stops him. "You are a king, and a king never bows before anyone," he says firmly.

Rayaan looks at him with respect. "Then how do I take your blessings?" he asks.

His grandfather smiles. "You don't need to. My blessings are always with you."

The family continues their breakfast. When they finish eating, Preeti Singhania, Rayaan's  mother, reminds everyone to come on time for the evening party.

"No one should be late," she says.

Everyone replies together, Yes

After breakfast, Iris Singhania turns to her brother Veer and says, "Drop me at the university, please."

Veer sighs but nods. They both leave for the parking area and drive away.

Meanwhile, Rayaan  went to the office. Preeti stays back to check all the arrangements for the party.

The elder members of the family, Daksh and Kavya Singhania, go to their room to rest before the celebration begins.

The day is just starting, and excitement is already in the air. Tonight's party will be grand and unforgettable.

Location: Rosewood Residency , Delhi

It was a breezy and cold night in Delhi. The view from the apartment's balcony was magnificent.I was standing at the edge with my hand on the railing. I was Staring at the busy road of the city. I was lost thinking about how life too flies at a fast pace, just like these busy roads of Delhi. After a few minutes passed, I decided to go inside, as tomorrow was a big day for me, so I just went straight to sleep as it was already 1 pm.

Next morning 🌄✨

The loud beeping of my alarm pulled me out of sleep. My heart was racing, my breathing uneven. I blinked a few times, trying to adjust to the morning light. 6 AM.

I sat up, touching my face—my cheeks were wet I was sweating .

The dream still lingered in my mind. A baby's cries echoed through a bright golden room. She lay on a grand bed, her tiny hands reaching out, calling for someone. The sounds of war raged outside, swords clashing, people shouting, yet no one came for her. The baby kept crying, helpless and alone. Then, after what felt like forever, a woman entered, picked her up, and held her close. The child slowly stopped crying, but the battle outside never did. The war had only begun.

I took a deep breath, shaking my head. "It was just a dream, Anna. Stop thinking too much," I whispered to myself.

Pushing the blanket aside, I got up and walked toward the washroom. The cold water helped wake me up as I took a quick bath. After drying my hair, I dressed in a black crop top with a white shirt over it, pairing it with jeans. Keeping it simple, I applied just kajal and lip gloss.

[ Anna's outfit]

Once ready, I stepped out of my room and made my way to the kitchen to prepare breakfast, but my mind still felt heavy.

Why did that dream feel so real?

After making breakfast, I walked toward Kavu's room and knocked on the door. It was open, as always. Since it was just the two of us living in this apartment, we never bothered to lock our rooms.

I stepped inside and saw her sleeping peacefully on the bed. "Kaavu, uth ja! Uth ja, Kaavu! Baad mein mat bolna ki maine tujhe uthaya nahi!" I shook her lightly, trying to wake her up.

She groaned and pulled the blanket over her head. "Haan haan, uth gayi mai," she mumbled sleepily.

But the moment she saw the time—7:35 AM—her eyes widened in shock. "What?! Mera court session hai, main late ho gayi!" she screamed.

Rolling my eyes, I crossed my arms. "Maine pehle uthane aayi thi, par tune kaha ki tu thodi der mein uth jayegi. Toh main breakfast banane chali gayi."

She glared at me but didn't waste another second. Grabbing her phone, she ran toward the washroom. Within minutes, she came out, now dressed in black pants, a black coat, and a matching top. She did a little touch-up, applied some makeup quickly, and rushed toward the table where I was already waiting in the hall.

[Their breakfast]

"Chal, ab jaldi kar warna tu aur late ho jayegi," I said, placing a plate in front of her.

After breakfast, Kaavu rushed toward the court, leaving in a hurry. I stayed back to clean the dishes, letting the morning silence settle around me. Once done, I went to my room, where my book was waiting for me. I had been meaning to read it for days, and finally, I had some time.Hours passed quickly.

At 10 AM, I grabbed my things along with the apartment key. Locking the door behind me, I stepped out, ready for my internship. It was my first day, and though I tried to stay calm, a small part of me felt nervous.

As I walked, my phone rang. Kaavu.

"All the best, Anna! You'll do great," she said cheerfully.

I smiled, feeling a little better. "Thanks, Kaavu. Now go and win your case!" I replied before ending the call.

Location: AIMS Hospital, Delhi

On the way, my mind kept spinning with thoughts. What if I mess up? What if I don't fit in? It was my first day as an intern, and the nervousness was real.

When I finally reached the hospital, I took a deep breath and stepped inside. The place was huge, with doctors and nurses rushing past, patients waiting, and the faint smell of antiseptic in the air.

Just then, a woman approached me. She looked around 30 or 31 years old, dressed neatly, with a polite and professional aura around her.

She smiled. "Hello, nice to meet you. I'm Palak. Palak Sharma, manager of the HR department."

I quickly greeted her back. "Nice to meet you too, ma'am."

Palak ma'am nodded and gestured for me to follow her. "Come with me. I'll take you on a round of the hospital since you're a new intern."

As we walked, she introduced me to different sections of the hospital, explaining things patiently. Along the way, I also met a few other interns. They seemed friendly, and before I knew it, I had already made some new friends.

As I entered the courtroom, my heart raced. This case had taken three long months of my hard work, and today, it was finally coming to an end. The hearing went on for two intense hours, every argument, every piece of evidence playing a crucial role. I sat there, waiting anxiously as the judge gave the final verdict.

And then... I won.

A wave of relief washed over me. But more than that, I felt pure happiness—not because I won, but because I was able to save an innocent person from being punished. That was all that mattered to me.

Before I could process everything, I was pulled into a tight hug.

"Congratulations, Kaavu!" Anna squealed, squeezing me excitedly.

I smiled, hugging her back. "Thank you! I can't believe it's finally over."

As we pulled away, Anna looked at me with a serious face. "Kaavu, we have to leave for Rajasthan tomorrow."

I frowned. "What? So suddenly? Why?"

She sighed, crossing her arms. "Because I'm new at the hospital, and my department transferred me to Udaipur on my first day. They said I will learn more there."

Her lips curved into a small pout as she looked around. "I will miss this place."

Before she  could say anything, I, who had been listening, smirked and folded my arms. "What will you miss more? This place or Delhi's food?"

Anna winced, her expression turning dramatic. "Don't tease me! The food here is so tasty, what can I do?"

Kiara chuckled, shaking her head. "I knew it! You and your love for food."

I laughed, shaking my head at their banter. Anna and her food obsession were never-ending.

Kiara then clapped her hands. "Alright, enough talking. Let's go home and pack our bags. We have a long journey ahead."

With that, the two of us walked out of the courtroom, stepping into the bright afternoon sun and heading towards our apartment

As Anna got her internship in Udaipur, she had no choice but to shift there. But she wasn't the only one making a big decision.

Kiara, unable to imagine living alone without her best friend, immediately applied for a transfer to Udaipur as well. She didn't even think twice—where Anna went, she would go too.

"You're really shifting with me?" Anna asked, surprised.

Kiara rolled her eyes. "Of course! Do you really think I'll let you have all the fun alone? And besides, who will make sure you eat properly if I'm not there?" she teased.

Anna smiled, feeling lucky to have her. "Then let's start packing. A new city, a new journey awaits us."

Packing bags should be easy, right? Just fold clothes, place them in the suitcase, and zip it up. But today, it felt different—as if each item I packed carried a piece of my life in Delhi. Every book, every outfit, every small thing in my room held a memory, and now, I had to leave it all behind.

I sat on the floor, holding an old photo frame—a picture of me and Kaavu from our college days, laughing without a care in the world. We thought life would always be this simple.

A small sigh escaped my lips as I placed the frame inside my suitcase. Was I ready for this change?

Just then, Kaavu entered my room, throwing herself on my bed dramatically. "I still can't believe we're leaving Delhi."

I chuckled, shaking my head. "You're the one who decided to transfer with me. No one forced you."

She sat up, her face turning serious. "You think I would let you go alone? No way, Anna! You're my best friend. How could I live without you?"

Hearing her say that made my heart feel warm. Kaavu was more than a friend—she was my family.

"I know," I whispered, smiling softly.

She grinned. "Then stop overthinking and finish packing. We have a flight to catch tomorrow morning."

But despite her cheerful tone, we both knew it wasn't that simple. Leaving a place you've called home is never easy.

That night, we decided to sit on the balcony, looking at the city lights one last time. The cool breeze played with my hair as I hugged my knees to my chest.

"Delhi has given us so much," I murmured.

Kaavu nodded. "And now, Udaipur is waiting to give us more."

I smiled, but deep inside, a strange feeling sat heavy in my chest. Why did it feel like we were walking into something unknown?

Shaking off the thought, I looked at Kaavu. "We should sleep. Tomorrow's a long day."

With one last glance at the city, we stepped back inside, ready to face our future.

Little did they know, this wasn't just a normal shift to a new place.

Both of Their lives were about to take 360° turn
